DSO Mini Update is a mod for Darkstar One, created by unknown author.

Description:

This is a mod from long ago that's now hard to track down thanks to the original forum it was hosted on being wiped. No one seems to know who the original creator was. This version was tweaked by [SNF]Norbert to remove some unnecessary files (cutting down the size by 52MB) and streamline the installation process. I've simply translated his instructions from German to English and included a file that increases the LOD distance.

FEATURES:

1. Improved upgrade system (You can now reach level 30!)
2. Improved Plasma Weapon (See Logbook)
3. Improved production of goods & prizes
4. Improved Rich/Wealthy/Poor Value for money system
5. Improved Generators (Shield/Weapon Energy Charge)
6. Shield strength increased by 25%
7. Improved Missiles (More Agile/Stronger/Faster/Less Reload Time)
8. Set ammo for Rockets to 50
9. Big Bang has increased explosion radius (0.150 U.)
10. Afterburner now does 250 (default 150)
11. Secret Service weapons damage increased by 100%
12. Improved reputation gain:
13. Merchants/Mercenaries/Bounty Hunters reputation increased by 50%
14. Pirate/Smuggler/Killer reputation increased by 100%
15. More money at the beginning

To install the mod:

Copy the "DSO Mini Update" folder to this location:

C:\Users\username\Documents\Ascaron Entertainment\Darkstar One\Customization

You can rename it if you want, the game will still find the mod.
