DoD Enhancement Pack is a mod for Day of Defeat, created by mdmilburn.

This is the final version of the DOD1.3_ENHANCEMENT_PACK for day of defeat 1.3.

The DOD1.3_ENHANCEMENT_PACK consists of 16 custom crosshairs that you can toggle through with the F12 key while playing dod.

It also contains a custom userconfig file that has numerous client cvar tweaks to make dod perform at the highest frames per second and with the best packet transfer (network latency), the player can get for there PC and internet connection.

It also comes with jeds VGUI which makes the class menus look world war two like in design and also changes the AMXMODX STATS font ingame to a little smaller so it doesn't clutter up the players view while Fragging. the background scoreboard has been darkend so the player can now easily see them self at a glance.

I have also included a special soundpack which includes some band of brothers & saving private ryan sounds and also the amxmodx stats waves such as 'HEADSHOT' & 'MULTIKILL' which have been reduced in volume to a level that wont make your ears bleed.

as well as lowering all team voice_says to the perfect level.

so now you wont have noobs SCREAMING go,go,go in your ear all of the time.

these sounds have been reduced just enough to make them no longer annoyingly loud.

I have also lowered all of the weapon sounds by 30%.

The weapon sounds were way too loud by default. You can now hear were every weapon is firing from with no problem except you can also better hear the enemys footsteps.

These sound file changes have been made to allow the player to turn up their volume in order to hear the enemy better and yet the other wave files dont hurt your ears.

Instructions:

doubleclick on the DOD_ENHANCMENT_PACK.exe file and choose Browse then use the directory tree to find your dod folder. the path should look something like the following,

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\YOUR-STEAM-ACCOUNT\day of defeat\dod <<< install it here.

[NOTE] INSTALL INTO YOUR "DOD" FOLDER AND NOT INTO YOUR "DAYOFDEFEAT FOLDER.

After installing restart steam, unless steam wasn't runnine during install.

go into any dod server and press the F12 key, if you can cycle through the custom crosshairs, you have installed it correctly. congrats and enjoy.
