DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue - Game Mod - "Continue Game" Crash Fix - Download

"Continue Game" Crash Fix is an unofficial patch for DeathSpank - Thongs of Virtue.

Description (in authors’ own words):

This is an unofficial patch--while we believe the risk is low in doing this test, it is certainly not the correct way to update a Steam game so I have to give a disclaimer of "do so at your own risk"--we believe the worst thing you would have to do is reinstall the game but we doubt that will even be the case:

1) In your game directory, find the following file: GameData-000001000.gg

2) Back up that file by removing it to some other directory

3) Place this file in the game directory instead:

4) Try your save games from the World War II area that are failing to load and see if you are good to go now. Please report back here if it has addressed the issue (or not) for your situation.

Thanks for your help. It tested fine here in-house but we only had a few test cases and yours may be different.
