The mod transforms the classic shooter of id Softwara studio into a roguelike game. Every death here is final and forces you to start the game from the beginning. The project not only changes the structure of the gameplay, but also adds the ability to unlock upgrades and many new elements, including randomization of some aspects of the challenges.

All this, combined with the classic gameplay of Doom II, produces an excellent effect. No wonder, then, that users of the ModDB website have named Doom Infinite one of the top ten modifications of 2023.

Instructions:

To activate the mod, use the GZDoom application. Install GZDoom, then extract the mod's archive into the GZDoom directory and add the game's .WAD file there. Afterwards, simply drag and drop the mod's .pk3 file onto the GZDoom.exe to start.
