Installation:

1. Locate the game installation folder:

Example path:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\EmpireOfSin\EmpireOfSin_Data\StreamingAssets

2. **Make a backup of the original GameData_en.json file.**

You can rename it to: GameData_en_ORG.json

3. Copy the provided GameData_en.json file from this archive

into the StreamingAssets folder, replacing the original.

4. Launch the game.

IMPORTANT — Enabling Polish characters:

Upon launching the game, you may see empty squares instead of letters with diacritics (a, c, e, l, etc.).

To properly enable Polish characters display:

Go to the building rename option in the game

Enter a name using Polish letters, for example:

Konski Leb

Confirm — after this, Polish characters will be correctly displayed throughout the game.

Additional info:

- If loading a saved game, you only need to have activated Polish characters once — no need to repeat this trick.

- When starting a new game, rename the building with Polish characters again — that’s all.
