Horn of the Abyss is a mod for Heroes of Might & Magic III (and also requiring the add-on Shadow of Death) creted by Acid Cave.
Description:
The mod is designed as an unofficial add-on, which on the one hand significantly expands the content of the game, and on the other hand remains faithful to the concept of the New World Computing studio and continues the story line developed by them.
The modification introduces in new playable castles and factions, as well as a war machine in the form of a cannon. In addition, the list of artifacts and other items has been significantly expanded, as well as the gallery of heroes has been enriched. The balance of gameplay has also been improved and the maximum size of maps has been significantly increased. The highlight of the project, however, is the extensive selection of new campaigns and standalone scenarios
