Ironclads: Schleswig War 1864 is another sea turn-based strategy developed by the Russian studio Totem Games. In terms of graphic and gameplay of the game does not differ almost nothing from the Ironclads: High Sea, previous works by this manufacturer.
Once again players have the opportunity to play the role of admirals, proving fleets of warships. This time for the historical background for the game used the events of 1864. Coalition troops of Prussia and the Austro-Hungarian Empire occupied the Land Schleswig-Holstein (the extreme outer edge of the land north of today's Germany), to which the law first to Denmark. In fact, the Danes failed to retake the territory of zagarnietego, however, the creators of the game established that the events did not have to go this way.
