Description:

The mod recreates everything we know will be in the upcoming official Hardcore mode.

Hardcore Perks (Toggled by Keybindings)

- Bad Back - You can generally carry less. (Lower Carry Weight)

- Heavy-Footed - Your shoes wear down faster (200%), and you generally make more noise. (150% Noise)

- Numbskull - All experience gain is 20% slower. All experience gain is 20% slower. (60% XP)

- Somnambulant - You lose Energy faster. (200% Exhaustion, 75% Stamina Regeneration)

- Hangry Henry - In addition to the usual effects of hunger, starving also reduces your Speech, Charisma and Intimidation (-5 Speech, -5 Charisma, -5 Intimidation, Always Enabled). Moreover, all food will fill you 20% less (80% Nutrition, Always Enabled), and your digestion rate increases by 50%. (150% Digestion)

- Sweaty - You get dirty faster (150%), meaning you start to smell faster. And when you do, you can be smelled from twice as far away, making you easier to detect. Plus, perfume doesn't give you any positive effects (Always Enabled). You just can't hide this stench.

- Picky Eater - Your pickiness causes all food in your inventory to spoil 25% faster. (75% Decay)

- Bashful - Since you're not much of a talker, gaining Speech skill is also slower. (50% Speech XP)

- Punchable Face - Getting into a fight is more dangerous. (Aggressive Combat AI?)

- Menace - Once you're branded for a crime, the effect is permanent, and getting caught for any other serious crime will lead to your execution. (Always Enabled)

- Revenant - No longer regenerates health slowly at any given time, but only speeds up health gain during sleep.

Installation

- Extract in KCD2/Mods folder.

Advantages over the official Hardcore Mode

- This mod can be installed and uninstalled any time. It doesn't need a new game.

- Almost all perk effects are modular and can be toggled on/off on the fly.

- The official Hardcore Mode is not released till mid April.

- Buff group up feature - developed.

- Compass HC marks feature - developed.

- Compass POI radius shortening feature - developed.

- Map max width zooming feature - developed.

- Map position saving feature - developed.

- Quick food feature - developed.

- Quick weapon feature - developed.

Disadvantages over the official Hardcore Mode

- I simply cannot develop some of the advanced scripted perk effects. Hobbling, Hobbling.

- The new dialogue position system - who needs this anyway though?
