Modern Fixes & High Quality Soundtrack Mod is a mod for MDK, created by vini1264.

This is a high quality soundtrack mod for MDK, all music tracks from the PC version have been replaced by their high quality counterparts from the PS1 version.

This package also comes with compatibility wrappers to enhance the game's compatibility on modern systems, so when installing this mod you can start MDK directly from the exe without having to do extra tinkering, everything is already pre-configured, including controller support. Both Steam and GOG releases are supported. EXISTING SAVE GAMES WON'T WORK.

Installation:

Extract the contents from the "MDK Soundtrack Mod" folder to where MDK is installed and replace files when prompted, you can now start the game from either MDK95.exe, MDKD3D.exe or MDK3DFX.exe. I suggest running from MDK95 or MDKD3D executables, the 3DFX one uses lower resolution textures. This mod will change your control settings, so you may want to look at the keyboard options and rebind your prefered keys. I also suggest look at the Scratch folder and delete any files inside there.

Uninstall:

Grab the files from the backup folder and paste them in the MDK folder, It'll revert to the original low quality

tracks.
