By default, Need for Speed The Run tends to ignore Xbox controllers on newer versions of Windows. This .zip archive aims to fix the issue. The files included are:

Installation instructions:
Download the attached archive
Extract the archive.
Copy and paste the files in the game's installation directory. By default, it should be: Program Files\EA Games\Need for Speed The Run
Connect the controller and play the game.
