Description:

This is an open-source implementation of the game on a new, much improved engine, which allows fully comfortable play on modern PCs. It should be noted that this is not a stand-alone game, as it needs the files of the original to work. The project was built on the foundations of the older mod Julius, which did the same for Caesar 3.

Akhenaten offers many advantages, such as full compatibility with modern PCs and operating systems. We can play in high resolutions (including widescreen), use enhanced music files and enjoy many small gameplay improvements.

Instructions:

Extract the archive and run the mod's .exe file. A program will open that will ask you to indicate where the game is installer on your PC.

Note: the mod requires both the Pharaoh game itself and the Cleopatra add-on.
