FMVs of BH2 Sourcenext in RE2 Platinum is a mod for Resident Evil 2 Platinum (the one from 1998 roku), created by Neo94.

Description:

The release of Biohazard 2 Sourcenext only in Japan was a critical hit for the fans of Resident Evil, which included above all high quality uncompressed FMVs. But... nowadays is possible enjoy of these FMVs in RE2 Platinum.

Instructions:

1. Download the FMV pack (if the download does not work, try here).

2. Download these files: "DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer " and "Peixoto".

3. Install all the necesary Directx through "DirectX End-User Web Installer".

4. Extract the content of "Peixoto.zip" and follow the instructions about RE2 (both Claire and Leon) written on "Help.exe".

5. Extract the content of "ZMOVIERE2.zip" inside the root of RE2 platinum. Example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\CAPCOM\ResidentEvil2".

6. Close and reopen peixoto.

7. Select RE2 (both Claire and Leon).

8. Tick the folders in area managing mods in this way: for Leon, tick zmovie and pl0. For Claire, tick zmovie and pl1.

9. In the end, you'll watch the FMVs of sourcenext version and not those of RE2 platinum.
