Rise of the Ages is a mod for Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots, created by 0wcabibi88.
Description:
This mod completely overhauls the game. Each age now feels more extended and isn't rushed, as well as gameplay is more strategic than just spamming units from production facilities. It is best used in multiplayer. It also tries to re-balance the entire game and add unique units to underwhelming nations and take away unique units from overpowered ones.
INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLING FOR THE FIRST TIME:
Extract the folders in the .rar files to the main directory of the game
overwrite everything
in game lobby choose under 'Game Mods' -> 'Rise of the Ages v5.x'
INSTALLING A NEWER VERSION:
Delete all previous mod folders in ‘mods' folder
Extract the folders in the .rar files to the main directory of the game
overwrite everything
in game lobby choose under 'Game Mods' -> 'Rise of the Ages v5.x'
UNISTALLING:
Copy and paste all files from the 'ORIGINAL ART FILES' folder to \art\
overwrite everything
delete all mod folders from \mods\
(NOTE: Some files will be left behind in the \art\ folder. They will not interfere with vanilla gameplay though.)
