Beyond the Sword, the second, after the Warlords, an official addition to the excellent strategy game, Sid Meier's Civilization IV. This time, as suggested by the name of the extension, developers and designers Studio Firaxis Games decided to focus on periods in human history that followed the "twilight sword", that is, after the invention of gunpowder and the use of firearms.
In order to bring the prepared 12 new, unique and quite demanding scenarios, some of which has been developed with substantial support from the players gathered in the community of fans of the saga. With Beyond the Sword gameplay has been enriched, among others. about 10 consecutive civilization (including Portugal, Babylon or the Netherlands) along with its units and buildings, 16 leaders standing at the forefront of both new and existing Nations in the game (Hammurabi, Abraham Lincoln is sitting bull), and 5 new wonders of the world (statue of Zeus, Jesus statue in Rio de Janeiro or the Temple of Shwedagon Paya).
Note: The Demo allows you to play the first 75 turns with the scenario of Final Frontier.
