Patch is a Sleeping Dogs:DE patch focused on fixing oversights, restoring broken features, and improving the PC version.

FEATURES:

1. Cutscene 60 FPS fix

Fixes in-engine cutscenes so they actually run at 60 Hz now instead of 30.

2. SMAA replacement

Replaces the stock blurry FXAA with SMAA.

3. ACES tonemapping

Replaces the stock basic tonemapping with ACES-based tonemapping.

4. Wrong GPU / VRAM fix

Corrects bad DXGI adapter selection and prefers the best dedicated-memory adapter instead of the zero-VRAM slot the game can sometimes select.

5. Blood / bruising restoration

Restores missing visual damage when Wei is hit by NPCs, fixing an inconsistency in the DE version.

6. Fog slicing safety fix

Guards an invalid fog slicing path that can feed a bad value into the stock divide logic and cause random crashes.

Installation Instructions

Requirements

- A working ASI loader setup in the game folder.

- If you already use LotusPatch / FileRedirector / Ultimate ASI Loader, you are fine.

1. Copy everything into the game root:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SleepingDogsDefinitiveEdition

Supported executables

- Original 1.0 executable

- Latest Steam executable

- SPatch detects the executable automatically and uses the correct behavior for that build. No manual switching is required.

Notes

- SPatch writes minidumps on crashes when write_minidumps=1 in the .ini file.
