Spec Ops: The Line Difficulty Rebalanced is a mod for Spec Ops: The Line, created by sk8er_boi6000.

Description (in author’s own words):

Initial release, rebalance mod. Reduces the game's difficulty.

This is an INI mod that rebalances the game's notorious difficulty in the following ways:

- Walker's health increased by 20% at all difficulties

- Adams and Lugo's health increased by 20% at all difficulties

- Player can carry double the amount of ammo for all weapons, with the grenade launcher and SAW increased by 3x

If you're a hard game purist this mod probably won't be for you, but if like me you find the extreme difficulty curve to be something that got in the way of this otherwise incredible work of art, you might find this mod useful. So be warned this will make the game easier

Installation:

(Optional: back up your original files first)

Download the zip and extract the contents to

\SteamApps\common\SpecOps_TheLine\SRGame\Config

And overwrite all the original INI files.

If the updated settings don't apply

Open My Documents\My Games\SpecOps-TheLine\SRGame and delete all the INI files it contains. WARNING: This will delete all of your key bindings and graphics settings, so make sure you re-configure to your liking before playing the game again
