The mod introduces improvements that adapt the game to modern PCs. The project improves compatibility, removes bugs, removes the frame rate limit, and allows you to play in high widescreen resolutions.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. First, install patch 1.1.

2. Go to the folder C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Activision\Spider-Man Web of Shadows and open the Config.xml file in Notepad.

Then add all the lines below at the end of the file and save it:

3. Extract the archive with the mod to the game folder where the “Spider-Man Web of Shadows.exe” file is located.

You can change the mod settings by editing the d3d9.ini file in Notepad.

By default, the FPS is 60 you can use the key of your choosing from the [hotkey]keycodes.txt file and then assign it inside of the d3d9.ini file (FpsToggle). Then once in game press the hotkey you picked to toggle between 60 and 30fps. This toggle will be needed for areas where the fps breaks. The default key is F11.

There are multiple FOVs you can choose from. You can use the key of your choosing from the [hotkey]keycodes.txt file and then assign it inside of the d3d9.ini file (ToggleKey). Then once in game press the hotkey you picked to toggle between the different FOVs each time you press the button it will zoom the fov out between 4 values in a loop the default key is F9.

You can snap back to the original FOV any time You can use the key of your choosing from the [hotkey]keycodes.txt file and then assign it inside of the d3d9.ini file (RestoreKey). Then once in game press the hotkey you picked to snap back to the original games FOV, the default key is F10.
