Lost Alpha Developer's Cut is a free FPS game by dez0wave.

The project is expanded and improved version of the original Lost Alpha. Compared to it the project improves graphics, upgrades the interface and engine, and introduces additional content.

Apart from these improvements, it is the same game. Thus, it recreates the original version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl as it was shown on screenshots and video footage in 2002-2004. The biggest attraction is a virtually completely new world map, with the authors' original storyline and a powerful set of fresh missions. The physics engine has also been upgraded, graphics have been improved, additional weapons and the Sin faction, which includes Dark Stalkers, have been introduced. There were also new types of mutants. In addition, moving around sizable locations is facilitated by the ability to steer cars. The production is effectively a standalone new game and does not require ownership of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl.

We have placed Lost Alpha and Lost Alpha DC as separate downloads on our FTP site, as they are different enough that many other mods only work with one of these versions. If you don't know which version to start with, Lost Alpha DC is the best one.
