Alternative Installer is a fix for Star Trek: Generations, created by Suicide machine.
Description:
Since the original installer does not work on modern systems, an alternative installer created by Suicide_Machine has been developed to facilitate the installation process on modern systems. It also includes a custom compatibility profile for the game and missing video codecs and files. In practice, it's everything you need to play on modern PCs.
Instructions:
Create a new folder on your hard drive. Copy all the files from the game disc into it. Then extract the archive with Alternative Installer there, and run STG-Installer.exe.
