Modern Installer is a mod for Star Wars: X-Wing Collector Series, created by Markus Egger.
Description:
Star Wars: X-Wing Collector Series was released in 1998 and unfortunately the original version is virtually impossible to install on modern PCs with 64-bit operating systems.
Digital re-releases do not have this problem, but if you still have the original on CDs then Modern Installer will allow you to properly install this game.
Instructions:
1. create a new folder and copy the contents of both game discs there.
2. into the same folder extract the archive from Modern Installer
3. run XCS_XW95_MSI_v1.0.0.0.exe. And when the installer finishes run XCS_TIE95_MSI_v1.0.0.0.exe.
