Summoner Fixer is a mod for Summoner, created by TimeSlip.
Description:
Fixes corruption with the game's videos, fixes image corruption of saved games, fixes problem with game's timing on CPUs with very high clocking (4GHz and up), plus many other issues related to graphics on modern systems. Also enables widescreen resolutions, plus adds keys to toggle game's speed down and up, and to increase zoom range.

Works with Steam/GOG/retail versions updated to v1.4.
To install, unpack into Summoner's (clean) installation directory, where SUM.EXE is, open DINPUT.INI in a text editor and set the options appropriately (list of commands is in CONSOLE_COMMANDS.TXT), and then launch the game as usual.
Starting a new game is obligatory.
