Description:

This launcher fully reinitializes the behavior of the classic game The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride on modern versions of Windows. It automatically creates the required registry keys, configures paths, enables compatibility settings, and properly handles game saves.

What Launcher.exe Does:

1. Checks whether it is running with administrator privileges and requests UAC elevation if needed.
2. Automatically creates and restores all required Disney Interactive / SPAG registry keys.
3. Configures paths for scenes, global data, and mini-games.
4. Fully enables the Typing Demo, if it exists in the game directory.
5. Sets Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode for SPAG.exe.
6. Imports save data from SpagProgress.sav before launching the game.
7. Launches the game and waits for it to close.
8. Exports updated save data back into SpagProgress.sav.

How to Use

Place Launcher.exe into the game folder (next to SPAG.exe).

Always start the game through the launcher.

All settings, registry entries, compatibility options, and save handling will be configured automatically.

To use the launcher, you need to copy the Scenes folder from the game CD directly into the game folder — the same folder where SPAG.exe and Launcher.exe are located.
