Description (In author’s own words):
A modification that increases the field of view for modern monitors.
Supported all screen aspect ratios including: 3:2, 16:10, 16:9, 21:9, 32:9.
The game dates back to 2006, a time when the FOV was calculated from the width and not the height of the monitor. So the narrower the screen vertically, the more the image was cut off at the bottom and top edges of the screen. This modification fixes that problem.
With the latest version of the modification comes the ability to enable and change VSync, MSAA, anisotropic filtering, and Vulkan support.
Instructions:
It has all been packed into a single installation file, which automatically detects the game location, and copies all necessary files into the /bin and /data/settings folders.
Original fog files are moved into a backup folder.
