A Sorrowful Farewell is a mod for Thief 2: The Metal Age, created by Haplo (Ali Pouladi).
Description:
This mission is the fourth installment in the campaign. The first three missions are:
If you haven't already finished them, I highly recommend you to do so before playing this mission.
During my visit to Lord Abbath's cottage I learned of a monastery built by the followers of The Warlock.
The diary left behind by Lord Abbath's servant talked about a mysterious plague that had swept through the monastery and also of an imminent Mechanist attack. The monastery is located in the mountains and is quite far from the city. I will not be able to get there before the Mechanists do, nevertheless I have decided to pay it a visit and see if I could liberate it of the riches that the Mechanists haven't been able to get their hands on yet. Who knows, I might even find a use for the Artifact I stole from Lord Abbath.
Entering through the main gate will not be an option; but I have discovered another way in from the mountains side through a well.
