The project adds full controller support to the game as part of Xinput. It’s not the first mod of this type, but it’s by far the best one. Unlike other mods of its kind, this one fixes a problem where Sam always used his slow walking speed no matter how hard you pressed the analog stick, and requires you to scroll the mouse wheel all the way down every time you start a new level so that Sam walks and runs normally while using the analog.

With this mod, you can also navigate menus and the inventory screen by moving the mouse cursor with the left analog stick, with the right trigger (RT) serving as a left click.

Instructions:

First install Widescreen Fix, then download Controller support for Splinter Cell and extract the mod archive to the game’s main folder.
