Age of Empires IV should turn out pleasant to the ear.

AGE OF EMPIRES IV IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. Developer: Relic Entertainment
  2. Publisher: Microsoft
  3. Genre: RTS
  4. Platform: PC

Age of Empires IV is one of the most anticipated upcoming productions. Now there is an additional reason to look forward to this production. It turns out that the soundtrack will be composed by Mikolai Stroinski, the artist responsible, together with Marcin Przybylowicz, for the music in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions.

While Stroinski’s most famous work may have been the third Witcher, he has also recorded music for such productions as The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game or Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales.

Unfortunately, the available info about Age of Empires IV is still very scarce. Nevertheless, the title is already one of the most anticipated PC strategy games. This is due not only to the strength of the brand itself, but also to the fact that the development of the game was entrusted to Relic Entertainment, i.e. the RTS experts known from the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, Homeworld and Company of Heroes series.

So far, no screenshots or gameplay footage from AoE IV have been shown. Only the PC version was announced, but we wouldn't be surprised if the game also came to Xbox One, especially considering the fact that the console recently received full support of mouse and keyboard.

The planned release date has not yet been revealed. Lack of any gameplay materials suggests, however, that we the wait for Age of Empires IV will last at least until 2020.
