Close Quarters Conflict is a PC shooter with tactical elements. The action is presented from the perspective of the first person. The title is primarily focused on multiplayer gameplay. The production was developed and released by Groove Games studio, which already has several titles of this type (including Marine Sharpshooter II: Jungle Warfare and Rally Berlin: Special Branches).

In the game we play the role of a hero belonging to one of the six classes, whose representatives differ in skills, fighting style, speed, type of armor and the type of weapons used (the latter is a total of fourteen). We have a soldier, a sniper, a grenadier, an artiller, a scout and a medic to choose from.

The production offers two gameplay modes: single player and multi-player. In the first case, we receive eight campaigns to pass. The second one is much more extensive. The creators of Close Quarters Conflict have prepared several different types of gameplay, which allow players to test their strength in different tasks. These include occupying enemy properties, controlling a certain area, storming, Deathmatch (all enemies must be defeated, with unlimited play time) and Team Deathmatch (as in the case of DM, with the fact that it is not individuals but teams who fight against each other).

In total, we compete on twenty boards, and up to thirty-two people can take part in the tournament at the same time. Players can connect to each other via the Internet or LAN. In general, the gameplay is very much reminiscent of what we know from classic multiplatform network productions such as Team Fortress.
