Dead by Daylight Mobile is the mobile version of the 2016 online action game known from PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The game focuses on an asymmetrical multiplayer mode, in which one of the players takes on the role of a serial killer from slasher horror movie, while the rest of the players are the potential victims. The game was developed by Behaviour Interactive.

Mechanics

Dead by Daylight Mobile is an online action game in which we play the role of a person trying to survive an encounter with a dangerous serial killer or monster... or an antagonist tracking down innocent victims. In the first case, we observe the action from the third person perspective (TPP) and our task is to survive. In the second one, we use the first-person perspective and our goal is to eliminate all other participants of the game.

In the game you can find a whole range of characters known from or inspired by famous films and series. We are talking about antagonists such as Freddy Krueger (Nightmare on Elm Street), Michael Myers (Halloween) or Demogorgon (Stranger Things series), as well as heroes (Ash from the Evil Dead series, Steve from Stranger Things).

Each murderer has a set of special (sometimes supernatural) abilities that make him particularly dangerous, but the rest of the heroes also have certain perks. Cleverness and cooperation are required to survive, although the latter can sometimes be difficult and in some situations we may have to choose between the life of our hero and that of our friend. Playing on this side, we try to stay hidden and run generators that will open up an escape route for ourselves (but this risks attracting the killer's attention).

It is worth noting that the gameplay takes place on a randomly generated map, so each approach looks a little different. As players progress through the game, they gain levels that allow them to unlock cosmetic items and abilities that make it easier for the hero to play.

In Dead by Daylight Mobile we can only play with others. The basis of the game is an asymmetrical, online multiplayer mode, prepared for 5 people (one of them plays the murderer / monster, while the other four act together and try to survive).

Technical aspects

Dead by Daylight Mobile has quite decent, three-dimensional graphics. Although it looks noticeably worse than the console and PC versions of the game, it competently captures the atmosphere of horror and the appearance of individual iconic characters. This game interface has been designed from scratch with the touch screen in mind.
