NeuroNet: Mendax Proxy is a visual novel adventure game. It takes us on a journey to the cyberpunk world and allows us to take on the role of an artificial intelligence. The game was developed by an independent studio Dream Harvest.

NeuroNet: Mendax Proxy takes us to a fictional, futuristic metropolis Catena. During the game we play as an artificial intelligence, which manages the city through an advanced NeuroNet network, spreading to all its nooks and crannies. By getting to know the inhabitants of Catena, and helping (or conversely) solving their problems, the AI not only tries to bring order to the city, but also learns what humanity really is.

The gameplay in NeuroNet: Mendax Proxy is about following the story, having conversations with the inhabitants of Catena (during the game we meet 23 characters, each of whom has its own history, desires and problems) and making decisions that influence the further fate of both people and the whole metropolis. It should be remembered that our actions not only determine how our relations with individual Catenians will develop, but also influence the balance of power in the city. We must therefore act in such a way as to maintain a balance between issues relating to the city's finances, our reputation, order and the amount of power in our hands.

In between dealing with Catena's problems, we can indulge ourselves in various mini-games or the search for various secrets.
