The Adventures of Bryan Scott is a point-and-click adventure game inspired by the genre's greats, such as Broken Sword and Deponia. It was developed by the independent Radio Silence Studios and crowdfunded on Kickstarter.
The protagonist of The Adventures of Bryan Scott is the titular Bryan, the son of the famous archaeologist John W. Scott. One day he receives a package holding the diary of Kate Williams, a missing treasure hunter. The notes within show Williams is searching for the legendary treasure of the Queen of Sheba. Bryan heads to the Middle East, following both Williams' trail and in his father's footsteps.
The Adventures of Bryan Scott makes use of various cinematic camera angles. As we traverse different locations, we must talk to characters and solve puzzles to progress the story. As in other point-and-click games, most puzzles involve finding specific items and using them in specific ways. The game's interface is simple and relays information well.
The Adventures of Bryan Scott features colorful, cartoonish visuals. The characters models and detailed, hand-drawn backgrounds are very appealing. The voice acting is strong as well, starring such actors as Rolf Saxon and Alexandr Schottky, both known from the Broken Sword series.
