Skills

In Medieval Dynasty, you develop your skills by performing specific activities, e - Medieval Dynasty: Developing your characters skills - Basics - Medieval Dynasty Guide

In Medieval Dynasty, you develop your skills by performing specific activities, e. g. collecting mushrooms and berries will increase your "Survival" skill, while hunting and skinning animals will improve your Hunting ability.

Developing skills earns you so-called Talent points, which you may, in turn, spend to improve particular character skills. Each of the skills has several tiers. Thus, we can increase the number of objects detected during inspector mode, improve your water wading speed or boost the number of points earned for performing certain activities, etc. You can only reset your skills if you have a wife.

Skills include:

  1. Extraction - affects the amount of raw materials gathered from the environment and obtained from hunted animals;
  2. Hunting - affects your ability to track down and hunt animals, your skill with a bow and your trap limit, etc.;
  3. Farming - affects your abilities related to cultivating grains and vegetables as well as animal husbandry;
  4. Diplomacy - affects your conversations with the NPCs. Increases the amount of dynasty reputation points, affects vendor prices, approval and affection ratings.
  5. Survival - affects certain aspects of your character such as strength and resistance to low temperatures and poisoning while also decreasing the amount of health lost, etc.
  6. Crafting - affects your ability to create items as well as your sowing and cooking skills.

Technology

Technology in Medieval Dynasty corresponds to your character's development and is based on some of the same skill categories - Medieval Dynasty: Developing your characters skills - Basics - Medieval Dynasty Guide

Technology in Medieval Dynasty corresponds to your character's development and is based on some of the same skill categories. Developing particular technologies unlocks access to new buildings for your settlement or objects such as animal traps, better bows, cooking tools, etc.

Just like with skills, you will need to perform certain activities to develop technologies. You unlock specific buildings and items by purchasing their blueprints with coins, which means that you will need to earn the required amount of money.

Technologies include:

  1. Building - increased through cutting down trees, building, mining for rocks and clay;
  2. Survival - increased through hunting, setting traps and catching fish;
  3. Farming - increased through cultivating fields, harvesting vegetables and raising animals;
  4. Crafting - increased through making items, sewing and cooking.
