Bully 2 reportedly in works, coming up next after Red Dead Redemption 2

Rumor has it that Bully 2 is the next game Rockstar is going to release after Red Dead Redemption 2. The sequel to the "high-school GTA" has been much anticipated by fans.

According to a GTA forums user, nicknamed Yan2295, who is known in the community for leaking accurate information about Rockstar’s proceedings, the studio is busy working on the sequel to Bully. The next installment in the “high-school GTA” series is supposed to come out as the next game after Red Dead Redemption 2 (which is due out this fall). Here is exactly what Yan2295 posted:

Bully 2 is indeed in development and is supposed to be the next game after RDR.

Fans have long waited for the second Bully game and there have been plenty of rumors about a sequel. The original Bully launched on PlayStation 2 in 2006 and later got the enhanced Scholarship Edition for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii. The game puts you in the shoes of Jimmy Hopkins, a 15-year-old brat who ends up in Bullworth Accademy. There he tries to survive daily school routine and gain respect among fellow pupils, mostly by putting them in their place. Gameplay is very much GTA-like: you roam about an open world (school grounds and a neighbouring town), complete various assignments, earn money and push forward the story.
