There is a bug in Dead by Daylight that causes Devout Emblem to not work properly. This causes difficulties in levelling up ranks and prevents unlocking achievements.
In Dead by Daylight every match you play is evaluated. Your achievements for both survivors and killers are defined by four emblems. Currently, one of them - assigned to the latter - has a bug. Here you will find out what is wrong with the Devout Emblem.
Let's start with the basics. The Devout Emblem defines a killer's effectiveness in catching and sacrificing survivors. The score in this category is affected by each survivor sacrificed or killed. However, you must keep in mind that in order to get the highest possible score, you must hang your victims on the hook a certain number of times. On paper, to get an Iridescent rating you have to do it 9 times.
Unfortunately, there is currently a bug in the game, which prevents hooking from being counted correctly. As a result, it is impossible to earn the Iridescent Devout Emblem. Although on the surface this may seem like a trivial bug, it significantly affects gameplay. As a result of it:
The game's counting errors do not only apply to emblems. Tthe same problems occur also in tasks and daily rituals. As a result of them, completed activities are not counted and, ultimately, it is impossible to finish the task.
There is no solution to the bug at this time, so it remains to wait for the developers to fix it. However, it is not known when this will happen.
