How to Disable Mods in Ready or Not

Ready or Not is a tactical shooter that is the spiritual heir to the SWAT series. Obviously, as in the case of many games, if you play it long enough, you might want to introduce some changes to the gameplay. The good news is that the production supports mods. Of course, not everything you install has to be great. In this guide you will learn how to disable modifications.
How to disable mods in Ready or Not?
Ready or Not allows you to install mods. There is even a special menu in-game, which allows you to view modifications and everything you have installed. It’s therefore the ideal place to manage unofficial content. Unfortunately, however, it does not work perfectly.
- Theoretically, you should be able to uninstall mods simply by going to the aforementioned menu and selecting "unsubscribe" next to the mod. In practice, however, this may not work, many players report that the mod files are not deleted from the drive.
- If you want to remove all mods, and you used only in-game tool, you can do this in the Options in the "Gameplay" tab. There is “Clear Mod.io User Data” section at the bottom of this page.
- The safest way to remove mods from the game is to go to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks. This is where the downloaded mods are saved. You must simply delete the files from it.
There is also an alternative solution that does not require you to remove the mods. If you are launching the Ready or Not, there is a possibility to choose the mode. Select "safe mode". This should disable all modifications.
