Ready or Not - Console (Xbox, PS5) Release Explained
If you wonder whether Ready or Not will be available on Xbox or PS5, here you will learn all that is known so far about this title's console release.
First Person Shooters have come a long way. Of course, there is a huge number of players who are perfectly fine with well-established titles like Call of Duty or Battlefield, yet there is a group of fans which developed more refined taste. While the previously mentioned games offer a quick, brutal action, Ready or Not is a production that focuses on a more tactical and deliberate approach.
Since it offers more realistic experience, no soldier is a one-man-army and must coordinate with other members of their squad. If you would like to play with your console-oriented friends, who own only platforms like PS5 or Xbox, let’s check what VOID Interactive has to say about this topic more than half a year after its official release.
Console Release (PS5, Xbox) of Ready or Not
Despite the fact that Ready or Not can be enjoyed in singleplayer mode, nothing replaces the fun of teaming up with your friends. The problem arises when we realize that this title is currently available only on PC. Do the developers have any plans for making console ports so people on their PS5 or Xbox machines can enjoy it too?
In fact, they do. Or at least did back in 2019, as they informed via a post on X. Since then, there was no clear information confirming or denying the port. They mentioned that they will tackle this matter after official release, as the demand was high, yet it seems that they have focused on additional content for their creation, as the production has its first DLC added – Home Invasion.
Update October 21: There is no new official information about the console release.
On top of it, there was a hacker attack on VOID interactive servers not that long ago. It is said that among the stolen data there was information confirming the studio’s work on console release of their game. Even though the info from this source is doubtful, it still gives us hope that eventually Ready or Not will make its way to all the major platforms.
