Star Trek: Infinite is a 4x strategy game based on the license of the popular science fiction brand, titled Star Trek. The players’ task is to choose one of the four main factions and then lead it towards domination over the others. However, to do this, among other things, you need a fleet of various ships, which have their specific uses. That's why in our guide we explain how to use the Governor Ship and Spy Ship.

How to use Governor Ship in Star Trek Infinite?

In the campaign, Governor Ships and Spy Ships will not be available from the beginning. They will unlock shortly after the start of the game.

In order to use the Governor Ship, you first must contract a Governor of your choice, you will find them in the Leaders tab. The ship will then appear in the Civilian Ships tab. They add benefits to the planets colonized by your faction. To use them, you have to select the Governor Ship you own, then right-click on the inhabited world to expand the list of orders.

With these, you can, among other things, increase worker or specialist production, reduce crimes, increase amenities and planet stability or even indoctrinate pops. The higher the level of your Governor, the greater the bonus you will receive for a given command.

How to use Spy Ship in Star Trek Infinite?

To use the Spy Ship, you must, as with the Governor Ship, contract a Spy in the Leaders tab. You will also find the ship in the Civilian Ships tab.

The use of the Spy Ship is quite broad, it can be utilised both on planets controlled by other factions and on our own (right-click them). Among other things, they are used to spread propaganda, steal a faction's technology as well as their energy, and even perform smear campaigns. In the case of player-owned planets, they can practice counter-propaganda.

The number of available actions your Spy Ship can perform depends on how well you know the faction that is the target of your spy attack. What's more, the chance of a given order succeeding increases the higher level your leader has.
