Resistances and immunity in TES Blades TES Blades guide, tips

Last update: 18 June 2019

In the previous sections of the guide we discussed the types of physical attacks (slashing, cleaving, bashing) and the types of damage from elements (fire, cold, lightning and poison). This distinction plays an important role in battles, because both our hero and his opponents have certain weaknesses, resistances, and even complete immunity to specific types of damage.

That's why there's no perfect weapon in the game. Our unique axe that deals extra fire damage can handle most enemies with ease, but when we hit the location with the overwhelming forces of Dremora Riders, we'll have a big problem. These units have high resistance to slashing and fire damage, which will make our weapons almost useless.

How to prepare to combat with enemies - Resistances and immunity in TES Blades - Combat - The Elder Scrolls Blades Guide and Tips

How to prepare to combat with enemies? It is best to have so many spells and types of weapons at your disposal as to be able to deal any type of damage. During the mission we can of course change the weapon, so juggling with e.g. two types of hammers is completely normal. Spells, even at the lowest level, are also useful.

To make it easier to find the monster you are interested in, we have prepared the alphabetical list of enemies in TES: Blades:
