Total War: Warhammer players are going to receive another free DLC next week – on February 28 – featuring chivalrous Bretonnia as the new playable faction. Although fans have known of the add-on for some time now, Creative Assembly has recently updated its Steam page with a host of new information and detailed faction description. Total War: Warhammer – Bretonnia has also got a brand new cinematic trailer, which briefly introduces the faction’s history, heroes and types of armies and special powers.
Bretonnia is going to be playable in the grand campaign and custom single player and multiplayer battles. These guys are led by three Legendary Lords: Louen Leoncoeur (Bretonnia), Duke Alberic (Bordeleaux), and The Fay Enchantress (Carcassonne). The functioning of their nation is based on feudal economy, requiring peasants for work and knights for protection. In the course of campaign, Bretonnias have to perform heroic deeds in order to boost the chivalry level, which adds helpful bonuses when it’s high, and may cause some problems when low.
