You play as a former national park ranger named Randall Wayne, who's trying to find his missing wife and daughter.

In the game, referred to as “two dimensional Minecraft”, we are given the ability to shape a randomly generated world without restrictions and to create a number of useful tools, utility objects and structures via its crafting system.

The gameplay of Formicide is very similar to the famed Worms series, with a small exception – the game is much more dynamic, as the combat takes place in real time rather than in a turn-based system. We are left with a few typical game modes and numerous two-dimensional, terraformable zones.

Our goal is to find and obtain the keys that will allow us to unlock the transition to the next stage.
