How to get Moonflower Key in Dead Cells
Moonflower Key - general information
In Dead Cells you can get 3 Moonflower Keys. All of these items appear in secret rooms. You can recognize them by the fact that they are covered by vines. These locations are:
- First key - Ramparts
- Second key - Graveyard
- Third key - Forgotten Sepulcher
In each of these hidden rooms there are doors that can only be opened if you have a Gardener Key. It can be found in the Promenade of the Condemned.
Moonflower Key - Route
If you want to get this item in one go you will have to work a bit harder. This is because it is required to have 3 Boss Stem Cells in order to be able to open the three-cell-door in Ramparts. These lead to the Insuferrable Crypt, from where you can reach the Graveyard (you must have a Spider Rune) and then the Forgotten Sepulcher. The route looks as follows.:
Ramparts - Insufferable Crypt - Graveyard - Forgotten Sepulcher.
How to get Boss Stem Cells
Boss Stem Cells is an item that increases the difficulty level when it is active. It can be obtained by defeating Hand of the King or Queen. The second BSC is obtained for another fight with these opponents, but you must have the previously acquired and activated Boss Cells. To get the last BSC you need, you must defeat any of the aforementioned bosses with two Boss Stem Cells activated.
What is the Moonflower Key used for in Dead Cells
After getting all three Moonflower Keys, you can go to the High Peak Castle and gain access to a secret room that contains the blueprint for Acceptance. It halves the number of enemies required to defeat in order to remove the curse, but expect that it then appears after the character consumes food.
