Chapter 2 - The Children | Walkthrough
In order to shed some light on his parents' death, Bruce decides to get some information from Falcone, and travels with Dent to the Gotham precinct.
2.1 Gotham Precinct
While proceeding to Falcone's cell, Harvey explains how many contacts he had to use to make the conversation with the gangster possible.
Dialogue Options:

Regardless of your answer, Harvey wants to know why you are so obsessed with meeting Falcone.

After a short conversation, Gordon appears, and sarcastically refers to the connections that allowed Wayne to visit Carmine Falcone.

One of the police officers stops you along the way to the cells. Her name is Renee Montoya. She wants to inform our hero that even with the press hounding Bruce, the police are on his side.
After a short break, you'll join Gordon and Harvey, who raise the subject of Falcone's arrest performed by Batman.

Batman is a hero. |
I think he's a freak. |
We're lucky to have him. |

Regardless of the chosen answer, you proceed to Falcone's cell
2.2 Falcone
The mobster is very surprised by your presence. He suggests that he won't stay in prison too long.
Dialogue Options:
You deserve to die in jail. |
We need to talk. |
Piss off the wrong guy? |

Regardless of the chosen dialogue option, Falcone will tell you that he and Thomas Wayne were like brothers.
Dialogue Options:
Until you hired Chill. | Falcone will remember that. |

I should kill you right now. | Falcone will remember that. |

Falcone informs you that during his visit to the residence, he wanted to inform Bruce about the contacts he had with his family, but Bruce hadn't let him.
Dialogue Options:
Watch your mouth. |

In the further part of the conversation, Falcone will ask you to give him morphine, which will ease the pain.
[IMPORTANT CHOICE]

Below, you'll find two separate scenarios, which will take place after your decision.
2.21 Ease His Pain
If you help Falcone, he will be happy that even when burning with anger you cannot hurt him.

He will refer to Bruce's mother and her mild character.
Dialogue Options:
I don't remember her. |

Don't talk about my mother. |

2.22 Hurt Him
If you decide to hurt him, he suggests that you don't know everything about your father.

I'm no murderer. |
Give me the answers! |
We'll get the truth. |

He will finally confess that thanks to Wayne's slyness, all mobsters had made a lot of money. He makes a point of the fortune inherited by Bruce.
Dialogue Options:
I barely knew him. |
I didn't ask for it. |
So you took him out. |

Regardless of the chosen option, Falcone will confess that he wasn't the one behind the Waynes' murder.
2.3 Montoya
During the moment when Falcone seems to have an idea about who might be responsible for the death of Thomas and Martha, a female police officer enters the room and kills the mobster with a few accurate shots. As it turns out, Montoya is behind the murder, and she is now aiming at you. You can perform a simple QTE action, but regardless of your reaction, Gordon will take her weapon and incapacitate her.
The further action takes place in the interrogation room. Montoya is unconscious, while Harvey wonders what could persuade the female officer to murder.
Dialogue Options:
She was paid to silence him. |
Montoya hated Falcone. |
Something was wrong with her. |

Regardless of your answer, Gordon annunciates that Montoya was always loyal, and he doesn't believe that she would have done that consciously. Harvey wonders about the future of his cause, as witnesses such as Falcone are killed by the police.
Dialogue Options:
Let's get the facts first. | All will remember that. |
You're being played. | Harvey will remember that. |
We need to get our story straight. | Gordon will remember that. |

Finally, Bruce is left alone with the unconscious police officer, and he examines her using his phone.
The scanning will show two interaction areas, which can be seen on the screenshot above. The investigation of the skin will show noticeable blood vessels, while her neck contains a nick resulting from an injection.
In the further part of the scene, the female officer wakes up, but she doesn't remember what has happened.
Dialogue Options:
You shot someone. |
What do you remember? |
We're here for you. |

She cannot believe what she has done. She remembers a sharp pain in the moment of the injection, and a voice that told her to deal with Falcone.
Dialogue Options:
What did you feel? |
Did you see anyone? |

Montoya recalls that she felt as if she was controlled. The voice in her head pushed her for revolution. Moments later, Gordon and Harvey return to the room. Harvey asks if Bruce has learned something new from the murderer.

Someone got to her. |
I found needle marks. |
She knows what happened. |

Regardless of your answer, Harvey suggests that you should leave the precinct.
2.4 Vicki Vale
You'll meet Vicki while travelling near the reception. She desperately wants to know what has happened in Falcone's cell.

I'm in a rush. |
Can't you leave me alone! |

Regardless of your answer, Vicki doesn't lets go, and informs you that she has heard about a shootout near the area where Falcone was being held.
Dialogue Options:
Where did you hear that? |
No comment. |
Always digging, huh? |

She suggests that she may be able to delete the information about your presence in the precinct, but she needs a starting point. She asks you openly if the shootout was caused by a police officer.
Dialogue Options:
Yes, a sergeant. | She will remember that. |
No deal, Vicki. | She will remember that. |
I don't have time for this. | She will remember that. |

Finally, Bruce leaves the precinct, and travels to his mansion.
