L.U.R.K. one of the most important mods improving the post-apocalyptic FPS S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. In the case of this project, the authors not confined only to correct mistakes left by GSC. Instead, they introduced many new features, many of which had originally found in the game, but has been abandoned due to the long development cycle. First of all, the mod much improves the aspect of the skradankowy of the game. Finally, opponents were tailored in this artificial intelligence and do not have already superhuman ability to detect the player. Much easier is now also hide in the shadows.
Converted into a well balance throughout the game, making it more difficult. In particular, exchanges of fire are now clearly more challenging, thanks to more efficient SI and modified ballistics. Also introduced numerous improvements to graphics and added a lot of new types of weapons. L.U.R.K. not suitable for first contact with Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. Instead, it is a proposal for people who have passed the basic version of the game and now are looking for new challenges.
To install the fashion you must:
1. extract the archive, which will give you two directories-"Gamedata" and "Graphical Options"
2. copy the directory "" Gamedata "to the directory with the game (it's the one where you will find the file" StalkerUserManual ".pdf"), such as ". ...THQ\S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-Shadow of Chernobyl "or, in the case of the Steam version."..Steam\steamapps\common\S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-Shadow of Chernobyl ".
3. Then decide what level of graphics settings you want to get. If you have a very powerful PC that does not have to do anything. In contrast, if you L.U.R.K. you will cause performance problems, then go to the obtained by extracting the archive directory with a modem "Graphical Options\Optimized\Gamedata", and then copy its contents to ". ...Stalker-Shadow of Chernobyl\Gamedata "and wyrazcie to overwrite the files.
