Skill based dismembering is a mod for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, created by SKN.

Description:

The main idea of this mod is to allow light\heavy skill to increase the chance of dismembering enemies(while also maintaining vanilla dismember chance, such as griffing trophy). By default each skill will increase the chance of dismembering by 4%(80% max). Also sharpening your weapons at the whetstone will increase the chance of dismembering by an additional 10%(90%), and laslty superior oil will increase the chance by another 10%(100%).

Light skills will only increase chance of dismembering in light-attack, and vice-versa for Heavy skills.

Rend and Whirl have a 20% chance to dismember with each level(when using the skill) to a total of 100% at level 5.

All values are configurable in the DismemberConfig.ws file(Ignore the variable names and only focus on the commented description of it, description is always correct, variable names are just to keep them apart).

The heavyOnly alterantive file is a pre-configured DismemberConfig.ws file that will only dismember when using HeavyAttack(except for mounted combat), and vice versa for the lightOnly alternative file.

Installation:

extract the modCnfgDism into witcher3\mods\ folder.

Do the same for any alternative config file.

Uninstallation:

remove modCnfgDism folder in witcher3\mods\

Compatibility:

Not compatible with any mod that changes canDismember function in damageManagerProcessor.ws , any mod that changes damageManagerProcessor.ws requires script-merger (or manual editing).
