Darkstone Low Framerate Fix is a mod for Darkstone, created by Garrett.
Description:
This fix corrects low frame rate issues in Darkstone when running in fullscreen mode on Windows 8 and later.
Extract anywhere and run install.bat to apply the fix.
The game must be running with the -32bit parameter to avoid flickering/invisible graphics.
This fix works by applying the following compatibility fixes to Darkstone.exe:
DXPrimaryEmulation -DisableMaxWindowedMode (fixes frame rate isssues)
To install:
Extract to game’s main folder and run install.bat.
