In the Mods & Addons category, you can find free, fan-made mods that can enhance the content, or improve the performance of different aspects of the game.

These are unofficial, fan-made mods in most cases (however they usually are prepared in tools provided to the community by the game’s developers). Still sometimes you will find official modifications, prepared by the developers themselves.

Mods can change games in various ways. There are, for example, full conversions, that alter the entire gameworld (such as new lands added for TES V: Skyrim); additional missions or even full campaigns, new game modes, factions, guns, cars, etc. – depending on the game’s genre.

The modders are also quite keen on revamping the graphics, changing game rules and patching glitches overlooked by the developers (these are the so-called fan-made patches).

Installing some of these mods may be pretty difficult, so we’ve included detailed instructions in the files’ descriptions. In order to open and/or unpack some of the mods and patches, .zip software might be required, such as WinRAR, 7-.zip or Win.zip – you can find them here.
