Winter Hope County 2035 to is a mod for Far Cry: New Dawn, crearted by ArmanIII.

Description (in author’s own words):

Visit Hope County in winter season and enjoy beautiful post-apocalyptic Montana scenery in snow. All vegetation textures are created with snow texture.

For the best experience you can enable package "Indian Summer Time" from Scavenger Mod which makes the Sun to be in lower height above horizon, just like in winter season. You can also enable "Color Remap - Overgrown" which removes color remap and fog from green forest areas.

Installation and Usage

In archive you will find to versions of this mod – one for vanilla game and one for the version with official Ultra HD textures pack.

Only if you don't have it - go to Scavenger Mod page and download and unpack it

Unzip downloaded zip and put one of the extracted files (HD or not) to ModifiedFilesND directory

Run FCNDModInstaller.exe and select Winter Hope County 2035 package

Install the package using the “Patch the Patch” (“Install”) button.

Play a game.

Known issues

There are just small issues which will be fixed in future updates of the mod.

Worldmap doesn't have snowy ground textures

Development History

Last year (2019) I saw many videos and mods for another games which adding winter season, so I decided to try make Hope County in winter too.

During last 3 weeks I searched for all vegetation textures, terrain textures and started to trying edit them and now there is quite usable (and nice looking) winter theme for Far Cry New Dawn. There are still some bugs like NPC is wearing short sleeves, but this can be easily fixed in future updates of the mod.
