Description:

Since the ancient times in southern Germany, the castle named Verscheidenburg flourished. The famous Verscheiden family settled it. Seldom at the antecedent of the nineteenth century, when the industrial epoch of bloom occurred, and Europe started to suffocate with the Napoleonic battle, its residents abruptly vanished from the fort. Baroness Amelia von Verscheidenburg was the last sprout of the Verscheiden family. At that time she married the gentleman—mysterious Vladimir, who had appeared from somewhere in southern Europe to Bavaria. Vladimir was the thorn in the eye for local jurisdictions. One day, Baroness Amelia decided to write to the authorities in which she told many things about her peculiar husband. The grand cavalry sent by the mayor engaged the fort Verscheidenburg. But after the army captured the fort, none of its residents could be discovered. Since then the fort has been abandoned and forgotten. The mystery, where all the residents vanished, has not been clarified until today.

On July 6, 1925, two student siblings, Robert and Peter, from Munich set out for the south of Bavaria, where they spent part of their holidays. Hearing the scary legends about Verscheidenburg, they choose to investigate the castle through the warning of the villagers. They laugh at all statements and are convinced that when they examine the castle, they will be able to clarify the truth of all the horror legends linking to the castle. So in the daybreak of July 12, 1925, they leave the inn and set out for the castle. The weather is ominous, and dark clouds wander across the sky. After a few kilometres walk, they access the castle. They spend the first day at the castle investigating the surroundings of the back entrance, and in the nightfall, when the sun dies gently, they went to sleep. The next morningtide, Peter wakes up and discovers Robert disappeared.
