Description (in author’s own words):

It kinda bugged me that the shotgun in Alien: Isolation is completely useless against the Xenomorph (I understand that this was most likely done for balance purposes, but still). So I made this simple mod to improve the shotgun. Now it's able to damage the Xenomorph and force it to retreat like the flamethrower does. Bear in mind, it's not so easy as it seems. You'll need to have a two clear shots at the Xenomorph from close distance and it is very hard to do when the creature charges at you.

Installation instructions:

Before installation make sure that you have made backups of two original files (SHOTGUN_NORMAL.BML and SHOTGUN.SLUG.BML) in "DATA\WEAPON_INFO\AMMO" folder.

Just put the DATA folder in your game directory (replace SHOTGUN_NORMAL.BML and SHOTGUN.SLUG.BML).
