Sharp Corners of the Earth — HD texture pack for Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. All textures are original, so the atmosphere is preserved, upscaled to 4x resolution with neural networks. All game textures are upscaled.
WARNING: In 4K(3840x2160) and higher resolutions UI is partially broken(no background in the main menu and no background in the diary). Play in 2560x1440 or less if you wan bug-free UI. Unzipped mod size is 5,55 Gb
INSTALLATION:
Put all folders from the mod archive into your Call of Cthulhu - DCotE game directory and Replace all files.
Example folder structure >C:\Games\Call of Cthulhu - DCotE
Install Patch 1, drop into your Call of Cthulhu - DCotE game directory and Replace all files.
Tested on the GOG version of the game.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Use DCoTEPatch? for bug fixes, FoV adjustments, etc. (place it in the \Call of Cthulhu - DCotE\Engine folder, run it, press Load and choose
CoCMainWin32.exe then adjust the settings). Ingame shaders are blurring textures, so I STRONGLY RECOMMEND to use Reshade with qUINT_Sharp?? shader(Or any other sharpness shader, but qUINT is better) brings out details from textures.(In this game mouse in Reshade doesn't work, so use Ctrl+Tab to activate main window and then Arrows to navigate, Space to choose anything)
