2048 Patch is a mod for Carnivores 2, created by Tormer.

Opis:

- This is a patch for Carnivores 2 engine,

which Uses dgVooDoo2 - 2.63 version (it is a set of old graphics API's

implemented for Windows Vista/7/8/10 and created by Dege).

-The only engine tweak is that, with this patch, you can add in-game

3D models that have until 2048 vertices/ 2048 triangles in their mesh.

KNOWN ISSUE:

- The words that appear in-game look blurry

(like the ones that appear when you see a dino with binoculars

or when a dino is hunted / viewed in trophy room).

INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALL PATCH:

1-Download the file and unzip it.

2-inside 2048 Carn2 patch folder, there are many files - COPY all of them.

3-Go to Carnivores2 folder - PASTE there theset copied files and replace the older ones.

4-Before running game, set .exe file in compatibility mode for windows98/ME, then apply and accept.

5-Start game, go to OPTIONS and, in VIDEO select the following options:

AUDIO DRIVER: DIRECT SOUND 3D

VIDEO DRIVER: 3DFX GLIDE

RESOLUTION: 1280X1024

3D SHADOWS: ON

FOG: ON

TEXTURES: HIGH
